Sharing the widget for review
Before the widget goes live on your site, let colleagues try it without installing anything: open your client and go to Sharing (under Testing). A share link opens a hosted review page on this platform showing the live widget — same knowledge base, same appearance, same rate limits — so reviewers can check that the answers and the look are right.
Creating a share link
Fill in the form at the top of the Sharing tab:

Press Create share link — the link appears immediately with a copy button, and any listed colleagues are emailed. You can invite more people later from the link's page.
The address looks like https://<your-platform>/share/sh_… — the long random token is the credential, so share it only with the people who should see the widget.
Comments
When comments are enabled, reviewers see a comment box under the widget:
- Anonymous viewers can enter a display name (remembered in their browser for that link, and changeable at any time). If they leave it empty, the comment shows as Anonymous user.
- Signed-in users (your team, platform admins) automatically comment under their account name.
Comments update live: when anyone posts on the review page, every viewer with the page open sees it within a couple of seconds — no reload needed. Timestamps are shown in each viewer's own timezone.
Every share link has its own comment thread. Open a link via Manage on the Sharing tab to read the feedback, reply, or delete comments. The thread stays available there even after the link expires or is revoked — history is only lost if you delete the link itself.
Managing links
On the Sharing tab each link shows its status (active, expired or revoked), display mode, comment count and expiry. From the link's page you can:
- Copy or Open the link.
- Edit settings — label, display mode, comments on/off, and extend or shorten the expiration.
- Revoke the link at any time. Revoking cuts access immediately — even mid-conversation — while keeping the comment history. Reactivate restores it.
- Delete the link, which permanently removes it and all its comments.
- Invite more colleagues by email (only while the link is active).
Security note: the review page runs on the platform's own domain, which is never in your widget's allowed-domains list. Access is granted per message strictly while the link is active, so an expired or revoked link stops working right away. Visitors on the review page count against the same rate limits as your website visitors, and their conversations appear under the Conversations tab as usual.
